Quick Answers

What’s the difference between the Compact 4-stage and Compact 3-stage compact RO system?
The compact 4-stage reverse osmosis system includes a final remineralisation cartridge that adds back calcium and magnesium for improved taste and mineral balance. This 3-stage system skips this step, focusing purely on removal without adding minerals back in.

What’s makes this Compact system different?
The size! The compact system is with 30x18x17cm a lot more space efficient than the regular 32x42x11cm.

Can I use this RO system for tank and bore water?
Reverse osmosis systems need consistent water pressure to push water through the membrane. Tank or bore water systems often don’t provide enough pressure and may contain sediment or bacteria that can clog or damage the system. For these sources, we recommend our Rain Water Tank Filter systems, which are designed to handle untreated water more effectively.

How often do I need to change the cartridges and how much do they cost?
Carbon Filters (2x): every 12 months (2x $69)
Membrane: Every 3–6 years – depending on water quality and usage ($149)

  • Maximum flow rate of 3 litres per minute
  • Max filter output of approximately 200 litres per day (@60psi 25ºC)
  • Micron Rating: 0.0005 micron
  • RO Filter system dimensions 300W x 180H x 170D mm
  • 5 litre tank Dimensions 317W x 203D mm
  • 5 year warranty.

Effectively reduces PFAS, Chlorine, Chemicals, Taste & Odour. For best results, we recommend replacing every 12 months or 7,500L depending on water quality. Made in USA ($69).

Effectively removes up to 99% of PFAS, fluoride, microplastics,  bacteria. The membrane screens to 0.0005 micron for pristine drinking water. Replace every 3-6 years. Made in USA $149).

Installation of your reverse osmosis system is straightforward with the included guide and complete package of parts. All necessary fittings, tubing, and adapters are provided for a seamless setup.

Reverse-Osmosis-Filter-Membrane

How does the Reverse Osmosis Membrane Work?

A reverse osmosis membrane is a thin film with tiny pores that permit only water molecules to pass through, blocking all contaminants. It’s made of a semi-permeable material that allows water flow but blocks dissolved salts, organics, bacteria, and pyrogens. When pressurised, pure water diffuses through the membrane into the permeate flow, leaving contaminants behind. Reverse osmosis removes up to 99% of impurities.
Polluted water is forced through the semi-permeable membrane by mains pressure. Pure water passes easily, while pollutants larger than.0005 microns are washed away into a waste stream that goes down the drain. This waste stream contains all of the filtered-out contaminants, including pesticides, metals, bacteria, and viruses.
