The Coldstream Sentry CF115W ceramic water filter is designed to removes chlorine, harmful microorganisms and fine particles from town water and untreated water sources such as rainwater tanks, bores, and rivers. This highly efficient filter removes bacteria, cysts, and microplastics while maintaining fast flow rates and long service life. It is ideal for use in our standard benchtop or under sink filter housings that take 2.5" x 9" and 2.5" x 10" candles.

Installation and Replacement

Please Note: when changing the fluoride cartridge it is important that the fluoride cartridge is flushed alone to prevent it from flushing into the next stages of filtration.  Flush water through this cartridge in the system for 20 minutes before adding the next stages. View Instructions.

Chloramine is being used as a disinfectant in municipal water supplies in most major Australian cities. It is a combination of chlorine and ammonia and more challenging to remove than chlorine. It can significantly effect the water taste and quality. This high-performance filter ensures that your water is safe, clean, and tastes great.

Chloramine Specialist: Unlike standard carbon, this block is specifically designed to break down Chloramine, a persistent disinfectant used in most Australian capital municipal water supplies that affects taste and skin sensitivity.

Mechanical Precision: The 1-micron absolute rating acts as a physical sieve, effectively trapping particulates, rust, and sediment, as well as 99.95% of Giardia and Cryptosporidium cysts. Rated as 1 Micron Absolute, it means the physical pore structure is so consistent that it will trap 99.9% or more of all particles 1 micron or larger.

Chemical Adsorption: Effectively reduces particulates, chemicals, lead, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) through high-density coconut shell carbon.
